INDEPENDENT CANDY REPAIR ENQUIRIES

Candy microwave repairs | M25, Surrey, DA & RM

A Candy microwave with a working grill can still have a microwave-mode concern. Identify the selected mode and product code rather than treating every compact oven as the same appliance.

Central London freestanding call-out £90; integrated from £120; other areas from £75. Parts extra.

For a Central London service address, the standard freestanding call-out is £90 plus parts. Integrated appliances of any brand start from £120 plus parts in Central London. Outside Central London, fixed call-out charges start from £75, depending on your appliance's make and model and whether it is freestanding, integrated or another appliance type. Our office confirms the service address and applicable amount by phone before arranging your visit.

What is included, and what costs extra?

The agreed charge covers the first visit, repair labour and any return visit needed to fit parts for the same agreed repair. There is no extra labour or repeat call-out charge for that repair.

Parts are priced separately and approved before fitting. A different fault, another appliance, installation, removal or alterations require a separately agreed scope and quote.

Describe the fault, not a guessed part

Send the complete model reference, any displayed code, fitting type and full postcode. Include any suffix on the model label where shown. Only photograph a safely accessible label; do not remove covers or move a heavy machine.

UKCDA is not the manufacturer's service. Check an existing manufacturer guarantee or service plan before booking a chargeable visit. Shared manufacturer ownership does not mean parts or fault codes are interchangeable between models.

Mode and observed heating

Record microwave, grill or combination selection, power setting and the result from ordinary use. Use only cookware allowed by the exact handbook. Do not run the appliance empty, repeat a sparking event or try metal objects as a diagnostic test. Working lights or a turntable do not establish safe heating.

Door and sparking concerns

Stop using an appliance with sparking, burning smell or damaged door/sealing areas and describe the original event. Never remove the casing or alter interlocks, even after disconnection. An enquiry cannot identify a magnetron or another internal component without appropriate assessment.

Countertop versus fitted housing

Provide model/product code from accessible paperwork, fitting type and any trim kit. Do not pull out a built-in unit for a label. Replacement needs ventilation and housing compatibility checked; a microwave of similar width is not necessarily suitable inside the existing cabinet or trim.

Safe checks and deciding your next step

For checks that do not involve dismantling the appliance, read the microwave safety guidance. If you are weighing up a repair and a replacement, see what affects that decision. Your exact model handbook takes precedence over general guidance.

Details to include with this request

  • Model/product code and fitting.
  • Mode, power and observed result.
  • Sparking or door/seal damage.
  • Trim kit, cabinet and access.

Identify the exact Candy model

Candy's handbook finder uses the model or product code. Use the complete reference and the instructions for your appliance; connected features and supported apps depend on its version. Candy UK product manuals

Copy the complete reference as printed, including any suffix. Use an accessible label or your appliance paperwork; leave built-in units, electrical covers and heavy appliances in place. If the label cannot be reached safely, explain this when you contact us.

For the manufacturer’s explanation of the feature discussed here, see Candy UK appliance support.

If you are considering a replacement

Give the complete model and say whether it is built-in, combination or countertop. Include any cabinet, trim-kit or ventilation details from the product information and describe the fitting help required.

Candy microwave repair questions

Does a working turntable confirm the microwave is heating safely?

No. Report the actual mode/result. Leave sparking or door-damaged appliances unused, and never dismantle the casing to diagnose an internal component.

What is included in the fixed repair call-out?

For a Central London service address, the standard freestanding call-out is £90 plus parts. Integrated appliances of any brand start from £120 plus parts in Central London. Outside Central London, fixed call-out charges start from £75, depending on your appliance's make and model and whether it is freestanding, integrated or another appliance type. What details help with a Candy microwave repair enquiry?

Tell us whether it is built-in, freestanding or a combination appliance and whether it starts, heats, sparks or shows a code. Stop use if it sparks, smokes or has door damage. Never remove the case: internal components can remain dangerous after unplugging.
