INDEPENDENT CANDY REPAIR ENQUIRIES

Candy washer dryer repairs | M25, Surrey, DA & RM

For a Candy washer dryer, give the wash and drying results separately. The load that can be washed is not automatically the load allowed for drying on the chosen model.

Central London freestanding call-out £90; integrated from £120; other areas from £75. Parts extra.

For a Central London service address, the standard freestanding call-out is £90 plus parts. Integrated appliances of any brand start from £120 plus parts in Central London. Outside Central London, fixed call-out charges start from £75, depending on your appliance's make and model and whether it is freestanding, integrated or another appliance type. Our office confirms the service address and applicable amount by phone before arranging your visit.

What is included, and what costs extra?

The agreed charge covers the first visit, repair labour and any return visit needed to fit parts for the same agreed repair. There is no extra labour or repeat call-out charge for that repair.

Parts are priced separately and approved before fitting. A different fault, another appliance, installation, removal or alterations require a separately agreed scope and quote.

Describe the fault, not a guessed part

Send the complete model reference, any displayed code, fitting type and full postcode. Include any suffix on the model label where shown. Only photograph a safely accessible label; do not remove covers or move a heavy machine.

WATCH A SHORT EXPLANATION

Washing machine problems explained

A general explanation of drainage, spinning, heating, unusual noise and leaks, and the details useful for a repair enquiry.

Press play when you are ready. English captions are available in the player controls. Open the video file if playback is unavailable.

This washing-machine clip explains washing-stage symptoms only. It is not a guide to the combined washer-dryer's drying system; tell us whether the fault affects washing, drying or both. This is not a brand-specific error-code guide or a manufacturer's video.

Read the written summary

A written overview of the symptoms and next step, not a word-for-word transcript.

Water left in the drum, failure to spin, unusual noise and a stopped programme can have different causes. A symptom alone does not identify a failed component or establish that a part needs replacing.

Describe what happened during normal use, the complete model and your postcode. Stop using the appliance if there is smoke, a burning smell, a leak or electrical tripping; do not remove panels or attempt electrical repairs.

Ready to describe the problem? Send the symptoms, full model and postcode. The team confirms suitability, availability and applicable charges.

Drying allowance before a fault conclusion

Use the model/product-code handbook for drying capacity and fabric/programme limits. Tell us the load left inside, combined versus dry-only selection and whether items became warm. Damp laundry after normal completion differs from a programme stopped by an error; explain which occurred.

Water stage and locked-door evidence

Record whether washing drained, water is visible and the door opens normally. Supply the full message or panel indication without applying a separate tumble-dryer code chart. Leave trapped water and locks undisturbed. Do not force furniture fronts, remove filters containing water or repeatedly restart a leaking unit.

Built-in version and control arrangement

Candy's current washer-dryer range includes built-in products, but do not infer that fitting from the brand alone. State the actual furniture front, full code and any supported app used. Describe access restrictions without dismantling. Replacement compatibility and installation pricing are separate from the repair enquiry.

Safe checks and deciding your next step

For checks that do not involve dismantling the appliance, read the washer dryer safety guidance. If you are weighing up a repair and a replacement, see what affects that decision. Your exact model handbook takes precedence over general guidance.

Details to include with this request

  • Model/product code and fitting.
  • Combined/dry-only choice and drying load.
  • Water, door and exact message.
  • Warmth, completion and controls.

Identify the exact Candy model

Candy's handbook finder uses the model or product code. Use the complete reference and the instructions for your appliance; connected features and supported apps depend on its version. Candy UK product manuals

Copy the complete reference as printed, including any suffix. Use an accessible label or your appliance paperwork; leave built-in units, electrical covers and heavy appliances in place. If the label cannot be reached safely, explain this when you contact us.

For the manufacturer’s explanation of the feature discussed here, see Candy UK appliance support.

If you are considering a replacement

Include the replacement model and whether it is freestanding or integrated. Tell us about the cupboard, furniture front and any space or ventilation restrictions stated in its installation information.

Candy washer dryer repair questions

Can the full advertised washing capacity always be dried?

Do not assume so. Check the exact handbook's drying capacity and programme restrictions before treating the result as evidence of a fault.

What details help with a Candy washer dryer repair enquiry?

Say whether washing, draining, spinning or drying fails, and whether the appliance finishes the wash before the drying problem begins. State the load and programme used; washing and drying capacities may differ, so check the exact manual.

Candy washer dryer E2: filling

Model check: CSW 4852DE/1-80 linked UK manual.

For the Candy CSW 4852DE/1-80 washer dryer, the linked UK manual says E2 means the machine cannot take in water. Confirm the complete model and displayed code before applying that meaning to another Candy appliance. It does not prove an inlet valve has failed. Record when filling stops and share the model reference. Leave hose removal and internal checks to an engineer.

Candy washer dryer E3: drainage

Model check: CSW 4852DE/1-80 linked UK manual.

For the Candy CSW 4852DE/1-80 washer dryer, E3 indicates that water is not draining. This comes from its linked UK manual; another model may use different codes. The indication does not prove pump failure. Note whether water remains in the drum and share the full code and model reference. Do not force a locked door or remove hoses to investigate.

Candy E4: foam or water warning

Model check: CSW 4852DE/1-80; official linked UK manual, page 29.

On the CSW 4852DE/1-80 handbook's code system, E4 indicates too much foam and/or water. Explain when it occurs and which detergent you use. Assessment is needed if it continues; a replacement part cannot be chosen from this alone.

Candy E7: door problem

Model check: CSW 4852DE/1-80; official linked UK manual, page 29.

The CSW 4852DE/1-80 handbook identifies E7 as a door problem. Note whether the door closes or remains locked and whether washing starts. Do not force it open; the specific cause requires the model and symptoms.
