INDEPENDENT CANDY REPAIR ENQUIRIES

Candy electric & induction hob repairs | M25, Surrey, DA & RM

Identify the Candy hob as induction, ceramic/electric or gas before describing a zone fault. An induction pan-detection concern and gas ignition are different technologies and work scopes.

Central London freestanding call-out £90; integrated from £120; other areas from £75. Parts extra.

For a Central London service address, the standard freestanding call-out is £90 plus parts. Integrated appliances of any brand start from £120 plus parts in Central London. Outside Central London, fixed call-out charges start from £75, depending on your appliance's make and model and whether it is freestanding, integrated or another appliance type. Our office confirms the service address and applicable amount by phone before arranging your visit.

What is included, and what costs extra?

The agreed charge covers the first visit, repair labour and any return visit needed to fit parts for the same agreed repair. There is no extra labour or repeat call-out charge for that repair.

Parts are priced separately and approved before fitting. A different fault, another appliance, installation, removal or alterations require a separately agreed scope and quote.

Describe the fault, not a guessed part

Send the complete model reference, any displayed code, fitting type and full postcode. Include any suffix on the model label where shown. Only photograph a safely accessible label; do not remove covers or move a heavy machine.

UKCDA is not the manufacturer's service. Check an existing manufacturer guarantee or service plan before booking a chargeable visit. Shared manufacturer ownership does not mean parts or fault codes are interchangeable between models.

Zone and cookware context

Record the zone, full displayed indication and cookware used during the last normal cooking attempt. Say whether one zone or the full panel is affected. Use the model handbook rather than treating each letter as the same fault across products. Do not repeatedly energise a malfunctioning hob to build evidence.

Controls and safe stop conditions

Explain whether touch controls respond and any normal lock setting known. Leave cracked glass, burning smell or repeated tripping unused and report it. Do not lift the hob, open electrical terminals or bypass control protection. A remote-control or connectivity complaint should be separated from loss of cooking heat.

Product code and worktop compatibility

Supply full model/product code from documents and any old/new references for replacement. Worktop opening, ventilation and supply requirements need review; outside width and a feature name do not prove fit. Gas-work eligibility is not established by this page and needs separate confirmation.

Safe checks and deciding your next step

For checks that do not involve dismantling the appliance, read the electric & induction hob safety guidance. If you are weighing up a repair and a replacement, see what affects that decision. Your exact model handbook takes precedence over general guidance.

Details to include with this request

  • Model/product code and technology.
  • Zone, complete indication and cookware.
  • Control/lock behaviour and damage history.
  • Opening and proposed replacement reference.

Identify the exact Candy model

Candy's handbook finder uses the model or product code. Use the complete reference and the instructions for your appliance; connected features and supported apps depend on its version. Candy UK product manuals

Copy the complete reference as printed, including any suffix. Use an accessible label or your appliance paperwork; leave built-in units, electrical covers and heavy appliances in place. If the label cannot be reached safely, explain this when you contact us.

For the manufacturer’s explanation of the feature discussed here, see Candy UK appliance support.

If you are considering a replacement

Provide the replacement model, worktop material and existing opening dimensions if known. Mention an oven or drawers beneath it and any planned worktop or electrical changes.

Candy electric & induction hob repair questions

Does a Wi-Fi feature establish repair or fitting compatibility?

No. The full model, cooking technology and installation requirements matter. Connected features do not identify identical components or a compatible worktop opening.

What details help with a Candy hob repair enquiry?

Report the affected zone, displayed symbols and whether different suitable pans behave differently. Tell us the fuel or hob type so the office can confirm suitability; do not attempt internal electrical or gas work.

Local repair visits: M25, Surrey, DA and RM

Our service territory includes addresses inside the M25, all Surrey and every DA and RM postcode, including DA and RM addresses outside the motorway. Coverage is not a promise of an immediate appointment: the office confirms the model, required work and visit arrangements.
