INDEPENDENT AEG REPAIR ENQUIRIES

AEG washer dryer repairs | M25, Surrey, DA & RM

For an AEG washer dryer, explain the transition from washing to drying and identify its PNC. Water-condensing and heat-pump versions should not be given the same maintenance instructions simply because both wash and dry.

Central London freestanding call-out £90; integrated from £120; other areas from £75. Parts extra.

For a Central London service address, the standard freestanding call-out is £90 plus parts. Integrated appliances of any brand start from £120 plus parts in Central London. Outside Central London, fixed call-out charges start from £75, depending on your appliance's make and model and whether it is freestanding, integrated or another appliance type. Our office confirms the service address and applicable amount by phone before arranging your visit.

What is included, and what costs extra?

The agreed charge covers the first visit, repair labour and any return visit needed to fit parts for the same agreed repair. There is no extra labour or repeat call-out charge for that repair.

Parts are priced separately and approved before fitting. A different fault, another appliance, installation, removal or alterations require a separately agreed scope and quote.

Describe the fault, not a guessed part

Send the complete model reference, any displayed code, fitting type and full postcode. Include any suffix on the model label where shown. Only photograph a safely accessible label; do not remove covers or move a heavy machine.

Washing machine problems explained

A general explanation of drainage, spinning, heating, unusual noise and leaks, and the details useful for a repair enquiry.

Press play when you are ready. English captions are available in the player controls. Open the video file if playback is unavailable.

This washing-machine clip explains washing-stage symptoms only. It is not a guide to the combined washer-dryer's drying system; tell us whether the fault affects washing, drying or both. This is not a brand-specific error-code guide or a manufacturer's video.

Read the written summary

A written overview of the symptoms and next step, not a word-for-word transcript.

Water left in the drum, failure to spin, unusual noise and a stopped programme can have different causes. A symptom alone does not identify a failed component or establish that a part needs replacing.

Describe what happened during normal use, the complete model and your postcode. Stop using the appliance if there is smoke, a burning smell, a leak or electrical tripping; do not remove panels or attempt electrical repairs.

Ready to describe the problem? Send the symptoms, full model and postcode. The team confirms suitability, availability and applicable charges.

Distinguish the drying limit from the wash limit

AEG's drying advice separates load size, programme choice and the preceding spin result. Include the drying capacity in your own handbook and the load already used. A programme ending early with damp laundry is different from one failing to start. Do not reproduce an overheating or electrical-trip event.

Water and air-filter advice depends on type

AEG notes water use during drying in its condensing guidance, while its air-filter advice specifically applies to heat-pump washer dryers. Identify your version before following routine care. Describe any supply interruption or filter message without disconnecting plumbing, removing ducts or transferring instructions from a separate dryer.

Prepare the fitting and fault details

State whether the machine is integrated, what access is restricted and whether the wash drained and spun normally. Provide PNC and model from accessible documents. A locked door or water-filled filter should be left alone. Replacement connections and furniture-door compatibility require a separate installation assessment.

Safe checks and deciding your next step

For checks that do not involve dismantling the appliance, read the washer dryer safety guidance. If you are weighing up a repair and a replacement, see what affects that decision. Your exact model handbook takes precedence over general guidance.

Details to include with this request

  • Model, PNC and drying technology if known.
  • Drying capacity, load and programme.
  • Preceding drain/spin and final result.
  • Water/filter indication and integrated access.

Identify the exact AEG model

AEG manuals use the model or product number/PNC to identify the product version. Copy these from safely accessible documents or a label; a feature name alone is not a complete product reference. AEG UK model and PNC manual finder

Copy the complete reference as printed, including any suffix. Use an accessible label or your appliance paperwork; leave built-in units, electrical covers and heavy appliances in place. If the label cannot be reached safely, explain this when you contact us.

For the manufacturer’s explanation of the feature discussed here, see AEG UK appliance support.

If you are considering a replacement

Include the replacement model and whether it is freestanding or integrated. Tell us about the cupboard, furniture front and any space or ventilation restrictions stated in its installation information.

AEG washer dryer repair questions

Do all AEG washer dryers have air filters to clean?

No. The manufacturer's air-filter instruction is specifically for heat-pump washer dryers. Identify the model and follow only its own permitted routine care.

What is included in the fixed repair call-out?

For a Central London service address, the standard freestanding call-out is £90 plus parts. Integrated appliances of any brand start from £120 plus parts in Central London. Outside Central London, fixed call-out charges start from £75, depending on your appliance's make and model and whether it is freestanding, integrated or another appliance type. The agreed charge covers the first visit, repair labour and any return visit needed to fit parts for the same agreed repair. There is no extra labour or repeat call-out charge for that repair. Parts are priced separately and approved before fitting.

What details help with a AEG washer dryer repair enquiry?

Say whether washing, draining, spinning or drying fails, and whether the appliance finishes the wash before the drying problem begins. State the load and programme used; washing and drying capacities may differ, so check the exact manual.

AEG washer dryer E20: drainage indication

Model check: Article explicitly covers washers and washer dryers.

For AEG washer dryers covered by this UK guide, E20 indicates a water-drainage problem. Confirm the meaning in your exact model's manual; the code alone does not identify a failed part. Send the full model reference, complete display code and when it appeared. Leave internal parts and connections alone and arrange assessment if the problem persists.

AEG washer-dryer E10: water flow

Model check: AEG UK support: washing machines and washer-dryers listed in this article; confirm the model and PNC.

AEG includes washer-dryers in its E10 guidance. The appliance is struggling with water flow, which can involve intake or drainage conditions. Tell us whether it appears while washing or drying; the full product number helps distinguish the appropriate checks.

AEG washer-dryer E22: drainage

Model check: AEG UK support: washing machines and washer-dryers listed in this article; confirm the model and PNC.

For a AEG washer-dryer, this code group points to a drainage problem. Mention any retained water, pump noise and the stage when the programme stopped. The waste connection and the appliance drainage system need distinguishing before any part is recommended.

AEG washer-dryer E40: door recognition

Model check: AEG UK support: washing machines and washer-dryers listed in this article; confirm the model and PNC.

The washer-dryer has not confirmed a secure door closure. AEG's E40/E41 advice includes trapped clothing and door-lock problems. Record whether the latch clicks and when the message appears. An engineer can assess persistent locking trouble without bypassing the safety interlock.

AEG washer-dryer E50: motor operation

Model check: AEG UK support: washing machines and washer-dryers listed in this article; confirm the model and PNC.

AEG's washer-dryer guidance includes this motor-related code group. Describe whether the drum moves at all and whether the issue begins during washing or drying. A recurring warning needs professional investigation; it is not enough evidence to order a motor.

AEG washer-dryer E60: water heating

Model check: AEG UK support: washing machines and washer-dryers listed in this article; confirm the model and PNC.

The E60-family warning on the AEG washer-dryers covered by this guide concerns heating. Tell us which programme was running and whether washing or drying was affected. Persistent heating errors need assessment against the exact model rather than assuming one replacement part.
