INDEPENDENT AEG REPAIR ENQUIRIES

AEG electric cooker repairs | M25, Surrey, DA & RM

For an AEG freestanding cooker, separate the oven, grill and hob observations. Give the fuel and hob technology; an induction-zone message is not the same diagnosis as a failure to heat the oven.

Central London freestanding call-out £90; integrated from £120; other areas from £75. Parts extra.

For a Central London service address, the standard freestanding call-out is £90 plus parts. Integrated appliances of any brand start from £120 plus parts in Central London. Outside Central London, fixed call-out charges start from £75, depending on your appliance's make and model and whether it is freestanding, integrated or another appliance type. Our office confirms the service address and applicable amount by phone before arranging your visit.

What is included, and what costs extra?

The agreed charge covers the first visit, repair labour and any return visit needed to fit parts for the same agreed repair. There is no extra labour or repeat call-out charge for that repair.

Parts are priced separately and approved before fitting. A different fault, another appliance, installation, removal or alterations require a separately agreed scope and quote.

Describe the fault, not a guessed part

Send the complete model reference, any displayed code, fitting type and full postcode. Include any suffix on the model label where shown. Only photograph a safely accessible label; do not remove covers or move a heavy machine.

Cooker problems explained

Read the written summary

A written overview of the symptoms and next step, not a word-for-word transcript.

On an electric cooker, heating, fan, temperature-control and other faults can affect different sections. Describe the oven, grill or hob symptom without assuming a particular part has failed.

Do not dismantle the cooker. Stop use for smoke, burning smells or electrical trips. Gas or dual-fuel work requires separate confirmation of suitable engineer availability; gas work needs an appropriately qualified Gas Safe registered engineer.

Ready to describe the problem? Send the symptoms, full model and postcode. The team confirms suitability, availability and applicable charges.

An F indication on an induction section

AEG's F guidance applies to induction hobs and cookers equipped with induction. It generally relates to cookware not being registered or removed from the zone. Record the cookware and affected zone already used. Persistent indications need model-specific assessment, not a control-board purchase based on one letter.

Map the oven or grill concern

Name the cavity and cooking mode, clock state and whether the concern began after a power interruption. Report poor cooking, no heat and electrical tripping separately. Leave a damaged or tripping cooker unused; do not remove panels or move it to gather supply information.

Fuel, width and access limitations

Supply model/PNC and cooker width from accessible documents. Gas or dual-fuel work requires separate eligibility confirmation and is not promised here. Keep supply connections and restraints undisturbed. Replacement fitting requires the new reference and connection needs reviewed outside the agreed repair charge.

Safe checks and deciding your next step

For checks that do not involve dismantling the appliance, read the electric cooker safety guidance. If you are weighing up a repair and a replacement, see what affects that decision. Your exact model handbook takes precedence over general guidance.

Details to include with this request

  • Model, PNC, width and fuel/hob type.
  • Affected zone, cavity or grill.
  • Full message and cookware if induction.
  • Clock state, recent interruption and access.

Identify the exact AEG model

AEG manuals use the model or product number/PNC to identify the product version. Copy these from safely accessible documents or a label; a feature name alone is not a complete product reference. AEG UK model and PNC manual finder

Copy the complete reference as printed, including any suffix. Use an accessible label or your appliance paperwork; leave built-in units, electrical covers and heavy appliances in place. If the label cannot be reached safely, explain this when you contact us.

For the manufacturer’s explanation of the feature discussed here, see AEG UK appliance support.

AEG electric cooker repair questions

Does F on an induction cooker prove an oven fault?

No. AEG's induction guidance concerns cookware detection at the hob. Describe the oven and hob separately and identify the exact product.

What details help with a AEG cooker repair enquiry?

Identify electric, gas or dual-fuel type before requesting a visit. Describe the affected oven cavity, grill or hob zone separately and report the exact display message. Gas work requires separately confirmed eligibility; this page does not promise gas repairs. Do not remove panels, move the cooker or recreate an electrical trip or burning smell.

AEG cooker: F102

Model check: AEG UK F102 article expressly includes cookers. Confirm the model/PNC.

AEG's cooker guidance links F102 to a door that is not fully closed, a possible lock defect or electronics. A returning message requires assessment. Do not force a hot or locked door.
