INDEPENDENT AEG REPAIR ENQUIRIES

AEG oven repairs | M25, Surrey, DA & RM

AEG ovens include different cooking designs; not every model has steam. Identify the affected cavity and function, with model and PNC, rather than describing every cooking problem as an element failure.

Central London freestanding call-out £90; integrated from £120; other areas from £75. Parts extra.

For a Central London service address, the standard freestanding call-out is £90 plus parts. Integrated appliances of any brand start from £120 plus parts in Central London. Outside Central London, fixed call-out charges start from £75, depending on your appliance's make and model and whether it is freestanding, integrated or another appliance type. Our office confirms the service address and applicable amount by phone before arranging your visit.

What is included, and what costs extra?

The agreed charge covers the first visit, repair labour and any return visit needed to fit parts for the same agreed repair. There is no extra labour or repeat call-out charge for that repair.

Parts are priced separately and approved before fitting. A different fault, another appliance, installation, removal or alterations require a separately agreed scope and quote.

Read the charging terms
Describe the fault, not a guessed part

Send the complete model reference, any displayed code, fitting type and full postcode. Include any suffix on the model label where shown. Only photograph a safely accessible label; do not remove covers or move a heavy machine.

WATCH A SHORT EXPLANATION

Electric oven problems explained

A general electric single- and double-oven guide covering heating, fan, grill and temperature-control symptoms.

Press play when you are ready. English captions are available in the player controls. Open the video file if playback is unavailable.

A general explanation of possible problems, not a diagnosis or instructions for dismantling your appliance. Illustrative appliance views may differ from your model. This is not a brand-specific error-code guide or a manufacturer's video.

Read the written summary

A written overview of the symptoms and next step, not a word-for-word transcript.

Tell us which cavity and cooking function are affected. A working display or turning fan does not establish why an oven is cold or cooking unevenly; similar symptoms can have different causes.

These examples concern electric ovens, not a gas-repair procedure. Leave a built-in oven in place and do not remove panels. Stop using an appliance that smokes, smells burnt or trips the electrics.

Ready to describe the problem? Send the symptoms, full model and postcode. The team confirms suitability, availability and applicable charges.

Steam concerns need the exact version

If your oven has steam functions, name the selected programme and explain water-related messages or a result different from normal. AEG's steam advice is for equipped models, not every oven. Do not open water-system covers, improvise descaling or run a faulty cleaning cycle; normal care must follow the model handbook.

Separate grill, fan and conventional heat

For a double oven, identify the cavity; for a compact oven, distinguish microwave mode if fitted. Describe display state, fan/light observations and the cooking result already seen. Do not repeat tripping, overheating or smoke. A lamp or fan working is not evidence that all heating modes function.

Built-under and tall-cabinet fitting

Send accessible model/PNC information and explain the cabinet position. Do not slide the appliance out to inspect wiring. If replacing it, include the proposed product reference and opening details for a separate fit assessment. Electrical supply, ventilation and dimensions cannot be inferred from the AEG name alone.

Safe checks and deciding your next step

For checks that do not involve dismantling the appliance, read the oven safety guidance. If you are weighing up a repair and a replacement, see what affects that decision. Your exact model handbook takes precedence over general guidance.

Details to include with this request

  • Model, PNC and single/double/compact format.
  • Affected cavity and exact cooking mode.
  • Steam/water message only if that feature is fitted.
  • Display, safety concern and cabinet position.

Identify the exact AEG model

AEG manuals use the model or product number/PNC to identify the product version. Copy these from safely accessible documents or a label; a feature name alone is not a complete product reference. AEG UK model and PNC manual finder

Copy the complete reference as printed, including any suffix. Use an accessible label or your appliance paperwork; leave built-in units, electrical covers and heavy appliances in place. If the label cannot be reached safely, explain this when you contact us.

For the manufacturer’s explanation of the feature discussed here, see AEG UK appliance support.

If you are considering a replacement

Tell us whether the oven is single or double and built under a worktop or into a tall cabinet. Include the new model, opening dimensions if known and any electrical work already identified.

AEG oven repair questions

Does every AEG oven use steam or the same cleaning cycle?

No. Features and care arrangements are model-specific. Use the PNC and handbook before applying steam, descaling or cleaning instructions.

What details help with a AEG oven repair enquiry?

Describe which cavity and cooking mode are affected, whether the display and fan operate, and any door problem. State whether it is a single, double or combination oven. Do not remove the door or internal panels to diagnose a fault.

AEG oven F102: door or electronics

Model check: Oven/cooker F102 article; no other F-code inference.

For AEG ovens covered by this UK article, F102 can concern a door that is not fully closed, the lock, or electronics. Confirm the full model and exact code before applying that meaning. Do not force a locked or hot door or bypass a safety device. Record when the message appears and arrange assessment if it persists.
