Will a new built-in oven fit the existing cabinet?
Check the proposed model's installation dimensions against the cabinet opening, not just its advertised width. Tell us whether it is a single or double oven and whether it fits under a worktop or in a tall unit. A replacement also needs its specified ventilation space. Share measurements already available without removing the existing oven.
Can the replacement use my current electrical connection?
That needs assessment against the new oven's electrical requirements. A connection used by the old model is not automatically suitable, particularly if the replacement has a different electrical load. Leave wiring and covers alone. Required circuit changes must be reviewed by a suitably qualified professional. This service covers built-in electric ovens; gas conversion or gas installation is not included.
What changes the oven installation cost?
The model, cabinet position, access and electrical requirements determine the quotation. Explain any known cabinet alterations and whether you want the old oven disconnected, removed or disposed of. Those tasks need to be expressly agreed. Fitting a new oven is priced separately from a repair visit, so request an installation quote rather than using a repair call-out figure as the total.
Is taking away my old oven included in the installation?
It is included only when agreed in the quotation. Tell us the old oven's position, whether it is single or double, and about stairs or restricted access. A fitted appliance may require more planning than its front dimensions suggest. The office will confirm disconnection, removal and disposal separately from fitting the replacement.
How long does electric oven installation take?
The existing cabinet, electrical requirements and access determine the work involved. A matching replacement and an oven needing preparation are different appointments. Send the proposed model and any known issues so the office can discuss the visit before booking. An installation slot is not a guarantee that unplanned cabinet or electrical alterations can be completed during it.
