Vented tumble dryer repairs in London & Surrey

A vented dryer sends moist air outside through a vent route. The appliance and its installation both matter when drying performance changes. Tell us about the fault and the existing vent arrangement without disconnecting the machine or investigating hidden ductwork.

The vent route is part of the enquiry

Say whether the vent goes through a wall or another existing outlet, and mention recent relocation, kitchen work or changes to the hose. Do not climb, move a stacked appliance or reach behind a running dryer to investigate. External ducting changes and building work are not automatically included in an appliance repair.

Drum, heat and control symptoms

Describe whether the programme starts, whether the drum turns and whether the problem occurs from the beginning or after some time. Include any unusual noise or smell. A turning drum does not show that every part of the drying system works; the engineer needs to assess the model and symptoms together.

Stop if there is a safety concern

Do not continue using a dryer with a burning smell, visible damage or repeated electrical tripping. Explain the concern to the office. Routine lint care must follow the manufacturer's instructions, but it is not a substitute for investigating a reported fault.

Useful details before an appointment

  • Brand, model and any displayed message.
  • What happens when the normal programme starts.
  • The existing vent arrangement and any recent changes.
  • Location, stacking and access restrictions.

Check the brand and exact model

The brand links below cover the wider tumble dryer category. Not every brand offers every drying or cooking format; send the full model so the office can check yours. A listing is not manufacturer approval or a promise that parts are available.

Coverage and charges

We take enquiries from all areas inside the M25 and all of Surrey. The office reviews the full address, fault, model and access, explains the applicable charges and confirms availability before arranging a visit. We will do our best to help, but repair outcomes and parts availability cannot be promised in advance.
