Built-in appliance repairs in London & Surrey

An integrated appliance needs attention to the fault and to the kitchen around it. Tell us about the furniture front, cabinet access and model before arranging a repair.

Repairing an appliance behind a kitchen door

Integrated washing machines, washer dryers, dishwashers, fridges and freezers can be concealed behind furniture. Built-in ovens, microwaves, hobs and cooker hoods have different mounting arrangements. The brand name and nominal size do not tell us how the appliance can be accessed.

Leave furniture doors, plinths and mounting screws in place. Do not pull out an appliance to obtain a model number. Use an accessible rating label or paperwork and tell the office if the information is out of reach.

Choose the appliance that needs attention

What changes the visit arrangements?

  • Tell us whether a fitted door opens normally and whether the surrounding cabinetry is damaged.
  • Mention a tall housing, stacked appliances, restricted kitchen access or an appliance behind a fixed plinth.
  • Describe any recent kitchen, plumbing or electrical work and when the fault first appeared.
  • For a tenant's home, give the visit contact and who can authorise the work.

A repair and a replacement fitting are different requests

A repair concerns the fault in the existing appliance. A replacement installation also needs a check of dimensions, furniture hinges, ventilation and services. If you are considering a new model, send the old and new references before relying on a fitting date. Removal, disposal, cabinet alterations, plumbing and electrical changes are not automatically included.

Brands, locations and the next step

See brand-specific model guidance, including Bosch, NEFF, Siemens, Samsung and the other listed makes. We cover addresses inside the M25 and all of Surrey, with full-address and model checks before confirmation. We explain the applicable charges and availability; parts, condition and the work required determine whether a repair is suitable.
