Separate a drainage problem from a spin problem
Tell us whether there is standing water in the drum or whether the water has gone but the clothes remain unusually wet. Note the programme you selected and the message, if any, left on the display. These details describe the failure without assuming a pump, motor or control board needs replacing. Avoid opening the door against trapped water or repeatedly restarting a machine that is leaking.
Leaks, movement and the space around the washer
A wet floor does not show where the water began. Describe when you first noticed it and whether it appeared near the door, dispenser or rear of the appliance, without pulling the machine out to investigate. For movement or knocking, explain whether it happens while the drum turns slowly or during the spin. Tell us about a stacked dryer, a tight utility cupboard or recent installation work.

Identify the exact Bosch model
Bosch’s model finder identifies the E-Nr, FD and serial-number details on the appliance rating label. Bosch UK model-number finder
Copy the complete reference as printed, including any suffix. Use an accessible label or your appliance paperwork; leave built-in units, electrical covers and heavy appliances in place. If the label cannot be reached safely, explain this when you contact us.
If you are considering a replacement
For an integrated replacement, provide the old and new model references as well as the furniture-door arrangement. Confirm cabinet clearance and any changes to existing connections before ordering a fitting visit.

Bosch washing machine repair questions
Can you identify the failed part from a Bosch error code?
An exact code helps identify the appropriate model guidance, but it does not replace checking the appliance. Send the code as displayed and describe what happened before it appeared; do not order a part solely from a generic online code list.
Should I empty the washer before the appointment?
Remove laundry only if the door opens normally and it is safe to do so. If water or a locked door prevents this, leave it as it is and tell the office. Do not force the latch or undo a water-filled component.
Arranging a visit inside the M25 or in Surrey
Send the full address, appliance details and best visit contact. UKCDA checks the enquiry, explains the applicable charges and confirms an appointment with you. Parts availability and further work are assessed for the individual appliance. The request form does not take payment or reserve a visit.
