Clock after a supply interruption
Zanussi's clock guidance explains that a previous power failure can leave a flashing time display and that setting methods vary by interface. Use the exact handbook for normal clock controls, not a generic button sequence. If heating remains absent afterwards, describe it separately rather than repeatedly changing settings.
Function and cavity evidence
Zanussi's no-heat guidance distinguishes one heating function from several functions failing. Identify fan cooking, conventional heat or grill from the last ordinary use; for a double oven, state which cavity changed. Check the selected function and temperature against your own handbook's normal controls, including a timed-cooking setting if relevant. A light and rotating fan do not prove heating performance. Record the exact display, door damage, burning smells or electrical trips without reproducing them; leave an appliance with these safety concerns unused pending assessment. Persistent loss of heat still needs assessment, not a replacement-element decision from the clock or mode alone.
Built-in reference and fitting scope
Provide model/PNC from paperwork, cabinet position and any restrictions on access. Do not withdraw an oven to find its plate. This guide concerns electric oven enquiries. Gas or dual-fuel work requires separate confirmed eligibility; a replacement installation needs opening and supply requirements checked independently.
A cooling fan running after cooking is not always a fault
Zanussi explains that the cooling fan can continue while warmth remains after cooking. This is different from the cooking fan's behaviour inside the cavity and does not by itself prove a failed control. Describe when the sound begins, how long it continues and whether the oven has cooled, using observations already made. Run-on that persists after cooling, a new abnormal noise or a change from the usual pattern should be assessed. Do not block ventilation, bypass the fan or remove panels to stop it. For burning smells, electrical tripping or visible damage, leave the oven unused and seek help.
Door locked after a pyrolytic clean
On a Zanussi model with pyrolytic cleaning, the door locks for the hot cleaning cycle and normally releases once the programme has ended and the oven has cooled. Do not force the door or handle while it is locked. If it stays locked after cooling, record the display and whether cleaning completed, then use the exact model's handbook or request help. A lock during normal cooldown is not the same report as a damaged hinge or a door that will not close. Not every Zanussi oven has pyrolytic cleaning, so identify the model before applying this guidance.

Double oven repairs
Electric double oven repairs across London and Surrey. Identify the affected cavity, cooking mode and model before requesting a UKCDA visit.
General double oven repair guidanceIllustrations show appliance types, not specific brand models or photographs of completed work.
Not sure which type you have? Send the model. We will check its suitability before confirming the work.
Safe checks and deciding your next step
For checks that do not involve dismantling the appliance, read the oven safety guidance. If you are weighing up a repair and a replacement, see what affects that decision. Your exact model handbook takes precedence over general guidance.
Details to include with this request

Identify the exact Zanussi model
Use the full Zanussi model and product number/PNC from accessible documents to find the correct handbook. Controls and features vary by product version; do not move a fitted unit to find a label. Zanussi UK model and PNC manuals
Copy the complete reference as printed, including any suffix. Use an accessible label or your appliance paperwork; leave built-in units, electrical covers and heavy appliances in place. If the label cannot be reached safely, explain this when you contact us.
For the manufacturer’s explanation of the feature discussed here, see Zanussi UK appliance support.
Manufacturer support for the faults discussed in this guide:
- Zanussi UK: one or several oven heating functions not working
- Zanussi UK: cooling fan continuing after cooking
- Zanussi UK: door locked after pyrolytic cleaning
- Zanussi UK: official repair and warranty routes
If you are considering a replacement
Tell us whether the oven is single or double and built under a worktop or into a tall cabinet. Include the new model, opening dimensions if known and any electrical work already identified.

Zanussi oven repair questions
Does a flashing clock mean the heating element is broken?
Not necessarily. Zanussi identifies power interruption as one possible clock cause. Follow model-specific normal controls, then report any continuing heating problem independently.
What is included in the fixed repair call-out?
For a Central London service address, the standard freestanding call-out is £90 plus parts. Integrated appliances of any brand start from £120 plus parts in Central London. Outside Central London, fixed call-out charges start from £75, depending on your appliance's make and model and whether it is freestanding, integrated or another appliance type. Our office confirms the service address and applicable amount by phone before arranging your visit. The agreed charge covers the first visit, repair labour and any return visit needed to fit parts for the same agreed repair. There is no extra labour or repeat call-out charge for that repair. Parts are priced separately and approved before fitting.
What details help with a Zanussi oven repair enquiry?
Describe which cavity and cooking mode are affected, whether the display and fan operate, and any door problem. State whether it is a single, double or combination oven. Do not remove the door or internal panels to diagnose a fault.
Can UKCDA carry out a Zanussi warranty repair?
UKCDA's enquiry is for independent paid work, not Zanussi's authorised warranty service. If your oven may be covered, use Zanussi's official repair route or your cover provider before agreeing an independent visit. The official repair page linked below distinguishes in-warranty, fixed-price and repair-plan options; those terms and prices are separate from UKCDA's charges. We do not decide cover eligibility or promise reimbursement.
Local repair visits: M25, Surrey, DA and RM
Our service territory includes addresses inside the M25, all Surrey and every DA and RM postcode, including DA and RM addresses outside the motorway. Coverage is not a promise of an immediate appointment: the office confirms the model, required work and visit arrangements.
Send the full address, appliance details and best visit contact. UKCDA checks the enquiry, explains the applicable charges and confirms an appointment with you. Parts availability and further work are assessed for the individual appliance. The request form does not take payment or reserve a visit.
