INDEPENDENT MIELE REPAIR ENQUIRIES

Miele dishwasher repairs in London & Surrey

A Miele F70 warning needs a different response from an F11 drainage warning. Drying problems also need their own description. UKCDA accepts independent repair enquiries for domestic Miele dishwashers. We check the exact model and work before agreeing a visit. The guidance below separates stop-use warnings from model-specific AutoOpen or AutoDos behaviour. It does not diagnose a replacement part.

Domestic repair enquiries across London, Surrey and all DA and RM postcodes. Send your full postcode and complete model; the office confirms suitability, charges and appointment availability before booking.

What does the repair visit cost?

Miele call-outs from £90 plus parts; Central London from £120 plus parts.

The agreed charge covers the first visit, repair labour and any return visit needed to fit parts for the same agreed repair. There is no extra labour or repeat call-out charge for that repair.

Parts are priced separately and approved before fitting. The office confirms the fixed charge for the model, fitting type and service address before arranging a visit.

Charges, cover and additional work

For Miele, fixed call-out charges start from £90 outside Central London and from £120 for a Central London service address. Parts are priced separately. The applicable amount depends on the appliance, complete model and fitting type, including freestanding or integrated. Our office confirms the address and fixed charge by phone before arranging the visit. These starting amounts are not an all-inclusive repair price.

A different fault, another appliance, installation, removal or alterations require a separately agreed scope and quote.

The call-out amount is not an all-inclusive repair price. Ask the office about charges if the appliance cannot be repaired and cover for the proposed work before agreeing a visit. Check any existing manufacturer or service-plan cover first; UKCDA is an independent business.

A written overview of the symptoms and next step, not a word-for-word transcript.

Poor washing, standing water, a stopped cycle and a leak are observations, not a diagnosis. Filling, circulation, heating, drainage and control arrangements vary by model, and the source of a leak may not be immediately visible.

Tell us the model, exact displayed message and symptoms. Stop using a dishwasher that leaks, smokes, smells burnt or trips the electrics, and leave internal inspection to a suitably competent engineer.

Miele F70 or Waterproof warning: stop using the dishwasher

Miele identifies F70 as activation of the Waterproof system. The programme stops and the drain pump can run. It is different from F11 drainage. Follow the official F70 instructions linked below: close the stopcock, switch off and unplug only if those controls are safely accessible from a dry position. Never touch wet plugs or electrics, move the machine to reach them or force a valve. Seek professional help if safe isolation is not possible. Do not tilt it, remove the plinth or restart it to clear the warning. Leave it unused and contact service. Its exact model and cause still need assessment.

Report a drainage code with its model family

Miele gives separate F11 instructions for G1xxx–G6xxx and for G7xxx/G5xxx Discovery models made from 2019 onwards. Select guidance using the complete model, not a range-name prefix. The later guidance includes blockage and an incorrectly seated drain-pump cover as possible causes. F11 does not prove a new pump is needed. Tell us whether water remains, when the programme stopped and whether sink or waste work preceded it. Follow only safe routine care in the matching handbook. Leave pump covers and internal parts undisturbed when preparing an enquiry.

AutoOpen and drying are related but different observations

Where AutoOpen is fitted, tell us whether the programme completed and whether the door moved at all. Miele notes that the function can be switched off and is not active in every programme. A changed setting is different from an obstructed or malfunctioning door mechanism. Describe persistent wet dishes separately, and do not pull against the automatic opening mechanism or remove a fitted furniture front.

Wash quality and detergent delivery

If the cycle finishes, explain whether food remains on one rack, dishes feel cold, a film develops or detergent remains unused. For an AutoDos-equipped machine, identify whether the concern is dispensing or the finished wash itself; do not assume all models include it. These distinctions help the office review the appropriate work. A leaking appliance or one that trips the electricity should remain unused, not run again to collect a comparison.

Safe checks and deciding your next step

For checks that do not involve dismantling the appliance, read the dishwasher safety guidance. If you are weighing up a repair and a replacement, see what affects that decision. Your exact model handbook takes precedence over general guidance.

Details to include with this request

  • Full Miele model designation and safely available serial number; copy F11, F70 or any other message exactly.
  • Programme outcome: drainage, wash quality, drying or door opening; do not run a new test to reproduce a fault.
  • AutoOpen or AutoDos only if fitted to this model, and whether a setting or detergent method recently changed.
  • Integrated furniture front, recent plumbing changes, visible water and access constraints; say if an F70/Waterproof warning has left the machine unused.

Identify the exact Miele model

Miele's data-plate finder explains where model and serial details can be found for the appliance type. Use accessible paperwork if the plate cannot be reached safely. Miele UK data-plate finder

Copy the complete reference as printed, including any suffix. Use an accessible label or your appliance paperwork; leave built-in units, electrical covers and heavy appliances in place. If the label cannot be reached safely, explain this when you contact us.

For the manufacturer’s explanation of the feature discussed here, see Miele UK AutoOpen troubleshooting.

If you are considering a replacement

An integrated replacement must match the opening, furniture-door fixing and plinth clearance. Send both models before ordering installation; moving kitchen fronts or altering plumbing is not automatically included.

Miele dishwasher repair questions

Does a closed door after the wash prove AutoOpen has failed?

No. The feature, programme and setting need checking for that model. Tell us whether it previously opened on the same programme and whether anything now obstructs the door; do not force the mechanism.

Can I request repair without knowing whether it is a drain or wash fault?

Yes. Describe what you can see: water left inside, an unfinished cycle, dirty dishes or a displayed message. A precise observation is more useful than guessing the part responsible.

What details help with a Miele dishwasher repair enquiry?

Explain whether water remains after a programme, cleaning is poor, the machine will not fill or a leak is visible. Tell us whether it is integrated, freestanding or slimline; do not remove the plinth or tilt the appliance to investigate a code.

Should I contact Miele or UKCDA if the appliance has a guarantee?

Check your manufacturer guarantee or service-plan arrangements before agreeing an independent chargeable visit. Miele's official repair options are linked in the manufacturer support list on this page. UKCDA is an independent repair business, not Miele's authorised service, and cannot confirm that a manufacturer plan covers its work. If you already have a diagnosis or parts estimate, include it so the office can review the requested work.

Does this cover Miele Professional equipment or every specialist model?

This page concerns the supported domestic appliance category. A Miele Professional machine, a domestic appliance used commercially or a specialist installation needs a separate suitability check and is not promised by this guide. Send the complete model and describe its use, including any fitted water connection, linked appliance or access restriction. A range name alone does not confirm eligibility or parts availability.

Manufacturer error-code guidance

Choose the exact brand, appliance and message. A code describes a detected condition; it does not confirm a failed part. Check the complete model against the linked manufacturer guidance. For an unlisted message, use “Find appliance help” above or send your model and question privately.

Miele dishwasher: F70

Model check: Check the complete model against the manufacturer guidance. Codes can vary between models.

Miele identifies activation of the Waterproof system: the programme cancels and the drain pump runs. Stop using the dishwasher, close the accessible water supply if safe, and arrange assessment. Do not tilt the appliance to clear the warning.

Miele dishwasher: F78

Model check: Check the complete model against the manufacturer guidance. Codes can vary between models.

Miele links F78 to a circulation-pump blockage or another technical fault. Mention a long period without use if relevant. It does not establish that a new pump is required; an engineer needs to assess the model.

Miele dishwasher: F11

Model check: Only Miele G1xxx–G6xxx families covered by this article; other families require their own manual.

For the listed G1xxx–G6xxx dishwashers, Miele describes a drainage or return-water problem. The pump route and non-return arrangement need distinguishing. Leave internal parts in place and send the complete model before applying this guide.

Miele dishwasher F12: restricted water intake

Model check: Miele Great Britain dishwasher support for the displayed code; exact appliance model must be checked.

Miele describes F12 as blocked or restricted water intake. Its guide considers the supply tap, inlet restriction, hose position and water pressure. The message does not by itself identify a failed valve. Tell us whether water enters and whether plumbing or installation has recently changed.

Miele dishwasher F13: water supply not sufficient

Model check: Miele Great Britain dishwasher support for the displayed code; exact appliance model must be checked.

For the dishwashers in Miele's UK guide, F13 indicates restricted water intake. Supply pressure and the inlet path need considering alongside the appliance. Record when filling stops and provide the model number; inaccessible water connections should be assessed during a service visit.

Miele dishwasher F15: inlet flow problem

Model check: Miele Great Britain dishwasher support for the displayed code; exact appliance model must be checked.

Miele's F15 advice concerns a water-inlet restriction. A closed supply, a restricted inlet filter or hose, and low pressure can produce this warning. An engineer needs the model and circumstances to distinguish a supply issue from an appliance fault before recommending parts.

Miele dishwasher F14: circulation or intake assessment

Model check: Miele Great Britain dishwasher support for the displayed code; exact appliance model must be checked.

Miele lists several possible explanations for F14, including a stuck circulation pump after a long unused period and technical water-intake or pressure-monitoring trouble. It is not a single-part diagnosis. Mention any lengthy break in use and arrange model-specific assessment if the warning continues.

Miele dishwasher F24: heating-relay contact fault

Model check: Miele Great Britain dishwasher support for the displayed code; exact appliance model must be checked.

Miele identifies F24 as a fault involving the heating relay contacts. Its customer guidance directs this to a repair appointment rather than a household maintenance task. Provide the exact model and displayed code so an engineer can test the heating control system safely.

Miele dishwasher F25: target temperature fault

Model check: Miele Great Britain dishwasher support for the displayed code; exact appliance model must be checked.

Miele associates dishwasher F25 with failure concerning the required temperature. The public guide does not establish which part has failed and recommends service. Include whether the wash finishes cold or stops early; internal heating and control checks belong with the engineer.

Miele dishwasher F51: pump-pressure sensing fault

Model check: Miele Great Britain dishwasher support for the displayed code; exact appliance model must be checked.

Miele's UK guidance describes F51 as a fault in the pump pressure-level switch system. It requires technical assessment rather than a guessed pump replacement. Save the full message and model number; testing the sensing circuit and associated components requires professional access.

Miele dishwasher F52: foam or drainage conditions

Model check: Miele Great Britain dishwasher support for the displayed code; exact appliance model must be checked.

Miele says F52 can follow excessive foam from detergent or rinse aid. Its guide also identifies drainage arrangements that can siphon water from a raised installation. Mention detergent changes and recent fitting work; these clues help distinguish operating conditions from a persistent technical problem.

Miele dishwasher F68: circulation pump system

Model check: Miele Great Britain dishwasher support for the displayed code; exact appliance model must be checked.

Miele lists F68 as a circulation-pump fault requiring service. That points an engineer towards the washing-water circulation system, but does not confirm the replacement needed. Provide the model and describe whether the appliance fills, makes a noise or stops immediately.

Miele dishwasher F69: circulation pump blocked

Model check: Miele Great Britain dishwasher support for the displayed code; exact appliance model must be checked.

Miele says F69 can occur when the circulation pump becomes stuck, including after weeks or months without use. A technical fault is another possibility. Tell us about any long idle period. Repeatedly restarting will not establish the cause; arrange assessment if it persists.

Miele dishwasher F79: circulation system needs service

Model check: Miele Great Britain dishwasher support for the displayed code; exact appliance model must be checked.

Miele's F79 page identifies circulation-pump trouble and recommends a repair appointment. Keep the complete code rather than describing only a washing failure. The model and the stage at which circulation stops help an engineer decide what needs testing before discussing parts.

Miele dishwasher F84: technical water-intake fault

Model check: Miele Great Britain dishwasher support for the displayed code; exact appliance model must be checked.

Miele identifies F84 as a technical water-intake fault requiring a service visit. Its public page does not provide a specific failed-part diagnosis. Share the model, the exact display and whether the dishwasher takes any water in; leave internal valves and wiring to the engineer.

Miele dishwasher F85: technical fault requiring diagnosis

Model check: Miele Great Britain dishwasher support for the displayed code; exact appliance model must be checked.

Miele confirms F85 as a dishwasher technical fault but does not publish a component-level meaning in this customer guide. A precise diagnosis therefore needs the model and inspection. Record the complete message and explain what the dishwasher was doing when it stopped.

Miele dishwasher F91: load recognition inactive

Model check: Miele Great Britain dishwasher support for the displayed code; exact appliance model must be checked.

Miele describes F91 as the load-recognition function being inactive. Its support page calls for technical service rather than a customer adjustment. Include the model and any unusual programme behaviour; this code alone cannot establish whether a sensor, connection or control needs attention.

Miele dishwasher F600: AutoDos dispensing outlet

Model check: Miele Great Britain: dishwashers fitted with AutoDos; F600 customer support article.

For Miele dishwashers with AutoDos, F600 concerns the dispensing outlet and a blocked AutoDos system. The programme can cancel while the drain pump runs. This is specific to the dispensing-equipped models; give the model and full message before arranging any internal repair.

Use this page's model-specific Miele guidance to distinguish expected drying behaviour from a changed result, and supply the complete model and displayed warning. London enquiries need the full property address and fitting details. Miele call-outs start from £90 plus parts outside Central London and from £120 plus parts in Central London; the office confirms the applicable charge before booking.
