INDEPENDENT CDA REPAIR ENQUIRIES

CDA washing machine repairs in London & Surrey

Tell us whether your CDA washing machine leaves water in the drum, finishes with wet clothes or stops before completing the wash. UKCDA assesses independent domestic repair enquiries across London, Surrey and every DA and RM district. The office checks your exact model, fitting and service address before confirming a visit.

Central London freestanding call-out £90; integrated from £120; other areas from £75. Parts extra.

For a Central London service address, the standard freestanding call-out is £90 plus parts. Integrated appliances of any brand start from £120 plus parts in Central London. Outside Central London, fixed call-out charges start from £75, depending on your appliance's make and model and whether it is freestanding, integrated or another appliance type. Our office confirms the service address and applicable amount by phone before arranging your visit.

What is included, and what costs extra?

The agreed charge covers the first visit, repair labour and any return visit needed to fit parts for the same agreed repair. There is no extra labour or repeat call-out charge for that repair.

Parts are priced separately and approved before fitting. A different fault, another appliance, installation, removal or alterations require a separately agreed scope and quote.

Read the charging terms
Describe the fault, not a guessed part

Send the complete model reference, any displayed code, fitting type and full postcode. Include any suffix on the model label where shown. Only photograph a safely accessible label; do not remove covers or move a heavy machine.

WATCH A SHORT EXPLANATION

Washing machine problems explained

A general explanation of drainage, spinning, heating, unusual noise and leaks, and the details useful for a repair enquiry.

Press play when you are ready. English captions are available in the player controls. Open the video file if playback is unavailable.

A general explanation of possible problems, not a diagnosis or instructions for dismantling your appliance. Illustrative appliance views may differ from your model. This is not a brand-specific error-code guide or a manufacturer's video.

Read the written summary

A written overview of the symptoms and next step, not a word-for-word transcript.

Water left in the drum, failure to spin, unusual noise and a stopped programme can have different causes. A symptom alone does not identify a failed component or establish that a part needs replacing.

Describe what happened during normal use, the complete model and your postcode. Stop using the appliance if there is smoke, a burning smell, a leak or electrical tripping; do not remove panels or attempt electrical repairs.

Ready to describe the problem? Send the symptoms, full model and postcode. The team confirms suitability, availability and applicable charges.

Water remaining or wet clothes: explain which result you see

Water visibly left in the drum and clothes left wet after an otherwise completed cycle are different reports. Note the programme already used, the last stage reached and whether the door releases normally. Copy any display message exactly. Do not force a locked door, open a water-filled filter or repeat a leaking cycle. These observations help plan an assessment; they do not establish that a drain pump, motor or door lock needs replacing.

Match CDA instructions to the complete washing-machine model

CDA's manual finder covers current and non-current products and asks you to select the category, subcategory and model. Use the full washer reference from accessible paperwork or a label, rather than instructions for a dishwasher or washer dryer. If the model is missing, CDA directs owners to Customer Care with their appliance details. An error-code list for another model is not a safe substitute for the correct handbook. Send the code and observed wash sequence together; we do not diagnose a spare part from the code alone.

Integrated CDA washer access: keep the furniture in place

Say whether a kitchen furniture door is attached, whether it catches the plinth and whether the appliance is stacked or difficult to reach. Mention recent fitting, movement or plumbing work separately from an established washing fault. Do not withdraw the machine, disconnect hoses or remove cabinetry to prepare photographs. Model documents and a safely visible control-panel photograph are enough to start the enquiry; access arrangements are agreed before the visit.

Deciding on repair rather than buying a part first

Give the approximate age, previous work and the last normal wash if known. The condition, exact product version, required work and parts availability determine whether repair is suitable. A category listing cannot promise every older CDA washer can be repaired. If replacement is preferred, send both model references: furniture-door fittings, dimensions and connections must be checked against the replacement's own requirements, with installation quoted separately.

Safe checks and deciding your next step

For checks that do not involve dismantling the appliance, read the washing machine safety guidance. If you are weighing up a repair and a replacement, see what affects that decision. Your exact model handbook takes precedence over general guidance.

Details to include with this request

  • Complete CDA washer model and serial information from accessible documents.
  • Programme, stopping stage, exact indication and whether water remains.
  • Door state, integrated or freestanding fitting and any recent installation work.
  • Full service postcode and access restrictions; do not substitute a nearby town.

Identify the exact CDA model

Send the full model and serial numbers and say whether the appliance is built in. Tumble dryer enquiries relate to older CDA ranges; parts and model suitability are checked before booking. CDA manufacturer or retailer product information

Copy the complete reference as printed, including any suffix. Use an accessible label or your appliance paperwork; leave built-in units, electrical covers and heavy appliances in place. If the label cannot be reached safely, explain this when you contact us.

For the manufacturer’s explanation of the feature discussed here, see CDA: exact-model manuals for current and non-current appliances.

If you are considering a replacement

For a replacement integrated washer, provide the old and proposed model references and furniture-door arrangement. Cabinet changes, removal and additional plumbing or electrical work need a separate scope.

CDA washing machine repair questions

How much does a CDA washing-machine repair visit cost?

For a Central London service address, the standard freestanding call-out is £90 plus parts. Integrated appliances of any brand start from £120 plus parts in Central London. Outside Central London, fixed call-out charges start from £75, depending on your appliance's make and model and whether it is freestanding, integrated or another appliance type. Our office confirms the service address and applicable amount by phone before arranging your visit. The agreed charge covers the first visit, repair labour and any return visit needed to fit parts for the same agreed repair. There is no extra labour or repeat call-out charge for that repair. Parts are priced separately and approved before fitting. Another fault, appliance or installation needs a separately agreed quote.

Can I request help for an older CDA washing machine?

Yes, send the complete reference and symptoms so the office can check suitability. CDA provides manuals for current and non-current products, but having a handbook does not prove a spare is available. Do not order a component for a visually similar machine or assume a generic error code identifies the part.

Are you CDA's authorised or warranty repair service?

No. UKCDA is an independent repair business. Check CDA, retailer or service-plan cover before agreeing a chargeable independent visit; we do not decide warranty eligibility or promise reimbursement.

Can I book for a London, Surrey, DA or RM address?

Choose your actual area using the directory below and send the full postcode. Our coverage includes addresses inside the M25, all Surrey and all DA and RM districts, including those outside the motorway. The office confirms the model, work, charge and appointment; an online enquiry does not reserve a visit or take payment.

What details help with a CDA washing machine repair enquiry?

Report whether the machine fills, drains, turns the drum or stops before spinning. Include when the problem occurs and any code exactly as shown. Do not force a locked door or dismantle the pump.

Local repair visits: M25, Surrey, DA and RM

Our service territory includes addresses inside the M25, all Surrey and every DA and RM postcode, including DA and RM addresses outside the motorway. Coverage is not a promise of an immediate appointment: the office confirms the model, required work and visit arrangements.

Send the full address, appliance details and best visit contact. UKCDA checks the enquiry, explains the applicable charges and confirms an appointment with you. Parts availability and further work are assessed for the individual appliance. The request form does not take payment or reserve a visit.

CDA CI326: E4 filling warning

Model check: CDA CI326 UK manual; model-specific.

The CDA CI326 has not reached its expected water level. The manual also identifies self-syphoning through the drain hose as a possible cause; the code needs inspection, not a part assumption.

CDA CI326: E8 protective water-level warning

Model check: CDA CI326 UK manual; model-specific.

On the CDA CI326, E8 reports a protective water-level fault. Stop using the appliance and arrange an assessment. This display does not by itself identify the component responsible.

CDA CI326: F3, F4 or F7

Model check: CDA CI326 UK manual; model-specific.

The CDA CI326 manual associates F3 with temperature sensing, F4 with heating and F7 with the motor system. These require service assessment; the code is not a confirmed parts diagnosis.
