Compare both compartments
Is only the fridge warm, or have both compartments lost cooling? Check normal door closure and visible air openings without removing covers. Beko notes that an external display can show a selected setting, not a measured temperature. Report each compartment, any alarm and a thermometer reading already available. Follow your exact handbook for controls. A light or running fan does not prove safe cooling. Protect affected contents promptly; do not wait for booking or keep changing settings to test the problem.
Doors, dispensers and integrated furniture
Explain the layout, whether a furniture door is fitted and whether a dispenser uses a tank or plumbing. Report dispenser problems separately from cooling. Do not chip ice, remove panels or pull out a heavy fitted appliance. Not every Beko fridge freezer has the same defrost or dispenser arrangement; identify the actual model before applying maintenance advice.
Model, location and the history of the problem
Use the complete model and serial reference from accessible paperwork or a label without moving a heavy appliance. Explain whether it is freestanding or integrated, the room where it is installed and whether the concern began after delivery, relocation or a power interruption. The handbook's location and routine-care requirements take precedence over advice for another model. Parts availability and the suitability of refrigeration work are confirmed individually, not promised from the brand name alone.
Can a cold garage affect a Beko fridge freezer?
Yes, the room can matter. Beko distinguishes static fridge freezers from models made for colder surroundings. Check the exact manual or specification. Freezer Guard does not make every model, or both compartments, suitable for the same room temperature. Beko also warns that fridge contents can freeze in a very cold room. Include the model, room and any recent weather or location change. A freezer that appears normal does not confirm suitable fresh-food storage. Do not move a heavy appliance to investigate.
Which sounds can be normal, and when should I request help?
Beko describes refrigerant bubbling, fan airflow and compressor humming as possible normal operating sounds; some frost-free models click during defrost. A familiar sound on its own is different from a new harsh noise, increasingly loud running or noise with deteriorating cooling. Describe when it occurs and which compartment is affected, using observations already made. Do not remove a cover or touch the compressor to identify the sound. For burning smells, electrical tripping or visible cable damage, leave the appliance unused and seek help.
Safe checks and deciding your next step
For checks that do not involve dismantling the appliance, read the fridge freezer safety guidance. If you are weighing up a repair and a replacement, see what affects that decision. Your exact model handbook takes precedence over general guidance.

Identify the exact Beko model
Beko's model finder distinguishes appliance types and label locations. Copy the complete model and serial number from safely accessible paperwork or a label; do not remove a fitted appliance to find it. Beko UK model and serial-number finder
Copy the complete reference as printed, including any suffix. Use an accessible label or your appliance paperwork; leave built-in units, electrical covers and heavy appliances in place. If the label cannot be reached safely, explain this when you contact us.

Beko fridge freezer repair questions
Does a light or display mean the contents are safely cooled?
No. Describe the actual storage concern and protect food separately. A light or selected setting is not a temperature measurement, and making an enquiry does not guarantee an immediate visit.
What does the fixed repair call-out include?
For a Central London service address, the standard freestanding call-out is £90 plus parts. Integrated appliances of any brand start from £120 plus parts in Central London. Outside Central London, fixed call-out charges start from £75, depending on your appliance's make and model and whether it is freestanding, integrated or another appliance type. Our office confirms the service address and applicable amount by phone before arranging your visit. The agreed charge covers the first visit, repair labour and any return visit needed to fit parts for the same agreed repair. There is no extra labour or repeat call-out charge for that repair. Parts are priced separately and approved before fitting.
What details help with a Beko fridge freezer repair enquiry?
Report the fridge and freezer symptoms separately, including alarms and any temperatures measured with a suitable thermometer. A display setting alone does not establish food temperature. Do not dismantle the cooling system.
Should I use Beko support before booking an independent fridge freezer repair?
Check manufacturer, retailer or service-plan cover first using Beko's official repair links below. Its parts guarantee has eligibility and registration conditions, requires Beko's repair route and excludes labour. It is not a promise of free UKCDA parts or attendance. UKCDA provides independent chargeable enquiries, not Beko warranty claims or authorised service. The office confirms model suitability, charges and availability before a visit.
Is a slightly warm front edge always a fault?
Beko explains that the fridge-freezer front can be slightly warm to discourage condensation. That does not explain unusual heat, a burning smell, damage or poor cooling. Report a new change and the storage concern separately; do not assume warmth proves either a failed component or safe food temperatures.
Local repair visits: M25, Surrey, DA and RM
Our service territory includes addresses inside the M25, all Surrey and every DA and RM postcode, including DA and RM addresses outside the motorway. Coverage is not a promise of an immediate appointment: the office confirms the model, required work and visit arrangements.
Send the full address, appliance details and best visit contact. UKCDA checks the enquiry, explains the applicable charges and confirms an appointment with you. Parts availability and further work are assessed for the individual appliance. The request form does not take payment or reserve a visit.
