Local coverage in Ashford (Surrey), Staines-upon-Thames and Sunbury-on-Thames
This is one shared Bosch dishwasher repair guide for three nearby towns, not three separate branches. Ashford here means Ashford in Surrey, not Ashford in Kent. Choose the town where the appliance is located or use the main enquiry button and provide its full address.

- Staines-upon-Thames: Town coverage · Request Bosch dishwasher repair in Staines-upon-Thames
- Sunbury-on-Thames: Town coverage · Request Bosch dishwasher repair in Sunbury-on-Thames
Town names are not a fixed mileage boundary or a promise of an immediate appointment. The office confirms the full postcode, appliance suitability and available visit arrangements.
Outside these towns? UKCDA's stated service area covers addresses inside the M25, all Surrey and every DA and RM postcode. Find your area and send the complete property address so the office can check the location, requested work and visit arrangements.
Separate a cleaning problem from a drying complaint
Tell us whether the programme finished, which rack or items were affected and whether the change appeared after a different programme or load. Record whether items were dirty, still wet or both. Include the E-Nr and any message already displayed. Those details give the office a more useful starting point than assuming that every disappointing result is a heating-element fault.
Wet plastics alone do not establish a heating failure
Bosch notes that plastic items dry less readily because they retain less heat. Its drying guidance also considers spacing between items, rinse aid and model-dependent programme options. Check those ordinary-use instructions in your own handbook and report the settings already used. This does not mean that a new change affecting the whole load should be ignored. Describe that change rather than buying a part or attempting to test the water temperature.
Keep a stopped or leaking cycle separate from routine care
If the machine stopped, copy the complete code and say whether water remains visible. If water has escaped, avoid electrical equipment in the wet area and leave the dishwasher unused. Do not tilt the appliance, remove lower panels or run more cycles to see whether a warning clears. A drying-result question and a leak report need different handling, even when they concern the same dishwasher.
Plan the visit around the kitchen and the correct town
This page covers the three named service towns; Ashford means the Surrey town with TW15 addresses, not Ashford in Kent. Supply the complete address where the dishwasher is fitted. For an integrated model, mention a furniture door, plinth or restricted cupboard access without removing them. If someone else manages the property, identify both the person arranging the repair and the person who can admit the engineer.
Prepare the model and fault details
Tell us if the dishwasher is freestanding, fully integrated or semi-integrated. The model label is often around the edge of the door.
- Bosch E-Nr and the exact text or code on the display.
- Whether the cycle ends normally, stops early or runs continuously.
- Water level or wash-result observations, with no dismantling.
- Fully integrated, semi-integrated or freestanding fitting and any recent plumbing work.
Bosch’s model finder identifies the E-Nr, FD and serial-number details on the appliance rating label.

Use an accessible label or appliance paperwork. Leave fitted units, heavy appliances and electrical covers in place. If you cannot reach the label safely, tell the office. Include any displayed message exactly as shown and describe what happened before the fault, without running repeated tests.
Access to the appliance at your address
Give the house or flat number, full postcode and the best contact for the visit. Mention stairs, lift or concierge arrangements, controlled parking and any restrictions on reaching the appliance. Tell us whether it is fitted behind a kitchen door, stacked or in a narrow cupboard.
For a tenant's domestic appliance, identify who can authorise the work and who will provide access. The office checks these arrangements before agreeing an appointment.

If you are considering a replacement
A replacement dishwasher must work with the opening, furniture front, plinth and existing services. The nominal width alone does not establish compatibility, so send both model numbers before a fitting is agreed.

Dishwasher repair questions
Why might plastic containers stay wet when plates are dry?
Bosch identifies the lower heat retention of plastics as a reason for poorer drying. Compare the result with your usual programme and the model's loading guidance. Wet plastics by themselves do not prove a failed heater; report any wider or sudden change too.
Does using an all-in-one tablet rule out rinse-aid settings?
No. Bosch's rinse-aid guidance still recommends a separate rinse-aid product because it is dispensed at a different stage. Follow your appliance and product instructions for the setting and dose; do not add extra detergent to compensate or assume all Bosch controls are identical.
Can you assess a dishwasher that appears not to heat at all?
You can request an assessment. Send the model, programme and the observations from the last use, including whether the cycle completed. Bosch advises an engineer visit for a machine not heating the water; this page does not identify a replacement heater or promise that the same repair suits every model.
Charges, scope and confirming a visit
We review the model, address and work required, explain applicable charges and confirm availability before agreeing a visit. Sending an enquiry does not take payment, reserve an appointment or guarantee a completed repair. Parts availability and the appliance's condition affect the options; further parts or work are discussed before you decide.
UKCDA is an independent repair business. Brand names identify appliances and do not imply manufacturer approval. If a manufacturer guarantee or service plan may cover the appliance, check its arrangements before requesting a chargeable visit.
